Admissions Process

Step 1:

Visit the Integrity Academy School website and schedule a Parent Tour or Information Exchange on the Connect with Us tab.

Step 2:

Fill out the Application and mail or email it to us (if possible, email is preferred).  Remit the $50 application fee to Integrity Academy; attn: Admissions; 1701 Toomey Road; Austin, Texas 78704. (For multiple siblings applying, only one application fee of $75 will be required.)

Step 3:

Have your child's current teacher complete and return the appropriate level Current Teacher Evaluation Form.

For home-schooled children, this evaluation may be filled out by a tutor, extra-curricular teacher or co-op teacher that the child has worked with in the past six months. For school children, the evaluation should be filled out by both his/her language arts and math teacher.

Step 4:

Set up a Parent Interview with our Executive Director.

Because families play such a special and valuable role at Integrity Academy, this is a good time to ensure that our program is a good fit for your family. Occasionally, these interviews can be scheduled at the same time your child is attending his/her Day Visit.  Parents participate in an intake discussion where we discuss learning needs of the student and learning needs of the family as a unit.  We will also discuss any prior diagnosis (cognitive or behavioral) given by a third party provider (i.e. reading specialist, OT, PT, speech therapist, etc.)

Step 5:

Schedule the Visit days for your child.

The potential student comes to school for one day - one week to participate in the school day/week.  Here we will conduct a TPRI, DWA and math assessment to see where the student is on the developmental continuum academically. We will also observe students and identify placement on the Natural Learning Relationship continuum (i.e. socio-emotional.  See: Summa Institute for more info)

Step 6:

Schedule a Student Interview with our Executive Director.

We feel it is imperative that our students themselves make a conscious decision to be a part of Integrity Academy. During the student interview, prospective middle school students are given an opportunity to discuss openly their current educational environment, what they seek/value in a school, what qualities they “bring to the table,” and whether they feel that Integrity Academy is a good fit for their personality and goals. (level 5-7 only).

Step 7:

Await notification on or by the last day of visitation via email.

If it is a good fit and we have space in the appropriate level (levels 1-7), we will offer a place in that class. Parents have 72 hours to accept or decline placement.

Step 8:

If you decide to enroll at Integrity Academy, complete the Enrollment Form and Tuition Contract and remit a non-refundable tuition deposit to hold your child's space.

Step 9:

Complete and submit all other documents found in the Parent Registration Packet and return to Integrity Academy within one week of notification.

Step 10:

Attend your First Day at Integrity Academy!

NOTE: Application process is subject to change at the discretion of the Director.  In addition, each family’s progression through the process can be terminated at any point by either the family or Integrity Academy.  Decisions are final and confidential.
